Missing My 'Hometown'

Stroke by my past again.. it began with 1 simple email from my closest classmate. She's my first real mate in my first month of college in Melbourne. It was torture for me to live so far far away from all my friends, family and.. well you get the idea. The 2nd year was not bad. In fact, I started to liking it better than my home country. The 3rd year was super amazing and fun, it makes me didn't want to come back home to J-town. For me, Melbourne was my home. However, I couldn't stay there like I wanted to... so I came back to J-town.

2 years has passed by.... I'm still missing Melbourne as much. After reading my friend's email, I opened my Melbourne pictures folder. I found the folder named "Mine-110905" and opened it. It was my 20th birthday, my last birthday in Melbourne. There are 3 videos there, and I watched it one by one. It made me laugh to tears. God, how I miss those times! I really want to go there and repeat all those things...
A week is all I got this year, is that enough to repeat all the fun? I guess not.... even a month won't be enough for me. I really love that town. Man, should I quit my job just so I can get my holiday?

I'm always traveling, I love being free,
and so I keep leaving the sun and the sea.
But my heart lies waiting over the foam,
I still call Australia home.

All the sons and daughters spinning 'round the world,
away from their family and friends.
But as the world gets older and colder,
it's good to know where your journey ends.

Someday we'll all be together once more,
when all of the ships come back to the shore.
I'll realize something I've always known,
I still call Australia home.
